I actually finished this a while ago, but just put the lining in today.  I tried using it without a lining but everything was sticking out through the holes!

I used a brown cotton blend with a turquoise satin for the lining.

Your bag turned out great!  I'm getting ready to frog mine and start again, I didn't realize there was a problem till I got to row 9, the error was all the way back in row 2!  I guess it's better I found it at row 9 then row 29 lol.  Anyway, I hope mine turns out half as good as yours.  I love the contrast of the bag and lining.  Looks great!  Have you been crocheting long?

The blue lining looks great with that brown yarn.

I like the color combo!  My FBB is about halfway finished, and I'm doing the opposite of yours - blue outside, brown inside.  Smiley

I love this book!  I wasn't planning on making the fat-bottomed bag, but after seeing everyone's bags, I'm definitely adding it to my to-do list.  Now to decide on the colors...

All the bags here look great!

Beautiful!  I love this bag, and have made three of them as gifts.  They are always received well.  I love the contrast of the lining with the brown.  How do you like carrying it?  Do you feel like you'd rather have a snap inside?

I love this bag, but unfortunately after a lot of use this summer, it's not so pretty anymore.  I am going to have to make another one.  Maybe this time I'll take your idea and make a snap or latch of some kind to keep all my goodies inside!
