Im having a laugh at myself, so I thought Id share. I called my vet last week because my goldfish Coke was sick. He was smimming realy slowly and had this white trail, kind of like worms, behind him. My vet was very nice and didnt laugh at me when she told me he was doing a poo  Embarrassed My friends on the other hand have had a ball with this information so rather than letting them make me feel bad I did what I always do, I joined in on the fun.
So introducing my painting - Fish doing a poo

Its just acrylic paints on a framed canvas my future stepMIL gave to me (shes a huge crafter and gives me things she has in excess  Cheesy) I used a paintbrush at the start, got bored and used my fingers  Cheesy half the fun was getting messy

I painted all the sides too

this just shows it on a piece of A4 paper (it was drying and if I left ot on the floor my cats would have played with the paint, they know not to play with stuff on the couch - chewed on too many stuffies with pins  Roll Eyes
The image is an imitation of a cartoon I was sent

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.

Ha!  That's like those new mom stories of taking the baby to the ER for gas or something.  If your vet is a true animal lover, s/he was probably touched that you'd bother to call about a goldfish.  It's sweet, actually, and now you have a cute and clever reminder of that. Anyway, I think you should have a t-shirt that says "I like to get messy painting poo."

Yea I love my wee fish, I got them for my 21st and everyone thought Id kill them with love (or the cats would find them) within 3 weeks  Cheesy and I havent  Grin
Hmm a t-shirt with a poo theme.... lol, like I need anything else on my to do list. Im already behind cos I get sidetracked so easily.
My vets pretty used to me calling, Im sure they record my messages to laugh at later on, my Mums the worst though (or just as bad) her cat cried and slinked really low to the ground and she thought it had been hit by a car (they live on the main road) yep, the cat was on heat. She took it to the vet afterhours too, so it was pretty expensive

I've a friend who took a chicken to the vet.  They usually just take dogs and cats, but he was really worried as the chicken had been mauled by a skunk.  The vet was thrilled, because it turns out that chickens were kind of his specialty in vet school and of course, no one brings their chickens to the suburban vet.  I don't think he even charged for the visit!
