i recently lost my mod podge virginity and although the first time hurt a little, these beautiful (and not even in an "only a mother could love them" sense) shoes came out of it. i took a pair of black scuffed patent leather old navy flats and glued a bunch of good luck cats (maneki neko) with cut up netflix envelopes along the inner edge for contrast.

Very cool.  Did you use an additional sealer for protection, or is mod podge enough?  I'd like to try it.

i also used a coat of polyurethane gloss spray over the pictures for shine. i'd reccomend being careful while spraying it, i accidently distorted some of the images because i sprayed too close to the shoe and also sprayed inside the shoe and now they stick to my feet.
