I claim scienceissexy for a make your own paper kit.
4th claim, 0 sent, 3 received.
I live in Wilmington, NC. I'm a vegetarian: somewhere between semi & ovo-lacto (AKA I do eat fish). I love Japanese art and culture. Anything crafted out of Japanese fabric would be wonderful. I love green & nature. I have a kitty, and we live together in a downtown apartment. I'm into the wonder of bamboo: just got some yarn in another swap!!! More than anything I definitely prefer stuff that can be used! I'm in an apartment, and as said by others, space is a premium!
Crafted:
Kimono inspired hoodie

Craftster Package for my Mom:
She's be incredibly impressed with pics she's seen of things I've received, and I think she deserves to be in on it too. She loves gardening (LOTS), tea (would not use a tea wallet - Twinings English Breakfast is her fave), horses, roses, reading. She has an odd sense of humor: signs in her yard include: Go Away, Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again, Beware...Just Beware. She lives in the middle of no where and likes it that way! I sent her a couple of CP soaps I received from Maremare in another swap, and she LOVED them. She has a twin sized bed. She lives in Missouri. She has a dog named Charlie and some cats. She loves Hershey bars--just the plain milk chocolate ones. That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll give you her direct address. She would LOVE IT!!!
***NEW***
Laptop bag:
if the fabric has green leaves on it, that would be PERFECT!

I claim nofury for an embroidery kit
This is my second claim of 2 - 1 sent 0 received
Hi my name is Jennifer. I'm 22 and live in Virginia. I will be married one whole year on May 26th and I'm really excited about that. I have a small Chihuahua named Lilly who I love to dress up and a beautiful gray cat, London, who loves to be naked ; ) I work in a research lab by day and love to craft all night. I love anything science-y, girly, and retro. Pink is my favorite color. I love to sew and embroider and have tried to knit but I'm not very good at it.
Wish List:
Crafted
• Apron – I collect aprons – vintage, retro inspired, anything with ruffles, I really love the apron with all the bias trim but don't have the patience to make it myself. I would love one like this -
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=213914.0
•
Reusable Grocery Bags
• Some neat resin bangles with glitter, beads, or dye inside – no candy please
• A teacup, hedgehog, or cactus shaped pincushion – or any combination of the three!
• Set of 4 napkins or placemats – The placemats are for a round table so they must be round or square otherwise they overlap. The table is black and the room is light blue, avocado green, and khaki colored.
• A DNA or sciencey t-shirt or scarf would be AWESOME (T-shirt size: xl)
• Headbands- I love to wear plastic headbands that have been covered with pretty fabric or ribbon – any thickness but please none that are fabric with the elastic in the back they just slip off my head.
• Knit or crochet swiffer pads
*New* I would love to receive a new fabric lunch sack to take to work or one of those placemat rolls that hold a napkin and silverware
Or anything with a bird, nest, eggs, or any combination of those things!
Supplies
• A shrinky dink kit (with simple instructions!) – I have never tried this and I love all the things I see on Craftster made with this!
• Embroidery Transfers / Iron transfer pen
• Needle Felting kit (also with simple instructions!) I really like the needle felted beads and the little animals like birds and bunnies.
• Bias tape maker
• Any vintage fabric or fabric with a neat print. (At least a fat quarter please)
• Clear stamps for scrapbooking – I have small dot letters and a few wedding stamps already but would love to add to my collection!
• Some wool felt for crafting
Extras
• Any yummy sweets or things you think I might like
• Pens and pencils that are neat/pretty/funny/kitchy…

Hiya! My name is Amber, I'm 22 years old and I live in Reno, NV with the love of my life (my boyfriend Bobby) and my cat Rafiki (yes like the monkey from Lion King). I am currently attending community college off and on as a business major. I work in a call center for GemsTV (we sell jewlery on DirectTV). I'm a music freak, I love all kinds of music and I tend to be a pirate when it comes to both music & movies (Arrr where's yer booty?) Lately I've been really into self help and trying to get healthier. Um...I think thats it! Let me know if I slipped something into my list thats a no-no
**Craft Supplies/Kits**

Diamond Glaze
Guitar Picks - Any colors, preferably in pairs if possible
Charms and Stuff I can use to make earrings and Jewelry

An awesome everyday purse
Crochet Bandanas like this...
http://travel-headwear.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-to-crochet-bandana.html
Vintage-y full apron like this
http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/apronpl5.jpg

A World of Warcraft themed T-Shirt for my boyfriend – Size 2X, preferably black but any color is okay.
A matching purse/wallet/business card holder set
Fabrics...anything! At least 1/2 to 1 yard
Cool re-constructed flip flops, Size 10 (You can buy cheap flip flops at wal*mart and Michaels!)
A crocheted matching hat and scarf, and fingerless gloves. I could do it myself but I never do! I’m too busy making everyone else stuff!
Cool jewelry - Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Anklets...I really need some cool necklaces right now!
**Random Stuff**
Any hardbound copy of any of the Harry Potter books, it doesn't have to be in perfect shape as long as the cover is okay so I can make a purse out of it, and i don't need the dust jacket either.
Needle roll for my knitting needles
Crochet hook roll
Project Journal – 3 Ring Binder Style
Recipe Box (needs to be able to fit index cards). Colors? Chocolate brown and Light Pink although I'm flexible on the colors.

Candles and/or inscents! I love relax-y stuffs! My favorite scent is lavender but I'll take anything :-D
Romance in a Box
Meditation in a Box
Curtains for my bedroom & office (HUGE WISH!) Something not too girly since I live with my bf. I can give you measurements, they really aren't big windows...like 5ft X 5ft or something, I'd have to get you the exact measurements tho.
Something inspired by my wists – you may want to ask if I have it first just to make sure. :-D
**Bonus**
I use a TON of post-its at work so if you come across any cool/funny/different post-its send them my way
Pens...lots of pens.

I claim em0tionalprayer for : crochet hook roll, knitting needle roll & some fabric
3 claims/0 sent/0 rec'd
Hiya, I'm Karan and I live in the UK. I'm a 40 yr old housewife and mother and it suits me just fine.
We're smoke free but no longer pet free, I have a 10 week old kitten named Oscar. I keep him away from my craft stuff as much as possible but there might be a stray hair or two creeps into your package.
I'm a very tactile person; things have to be soft or textured (and still soft!) I'm a nightmare when clothes shopping as everything has to have "feel appeal" as well as being the right size/shape/colours . I like curves not points, waves not spikes, circles not squares - you get the picture?
I'm a true child of the '70s and love the whole decade from the end of the Flower Power era to the reign of Punk to all the Glam between. I've have been described as " a happy hippy with Goth/punk leanings" and I won't argue with that!
I have a blog page full of swap related info including sizes and colour preferences, but basically if it's PURPLE then its GOOD My wist can be used for inspiration too, don't think you have to make exact copies of my wistys
http://www.wists.com/kookaloo
http://www.blogger.com/profile/08408096735291108000
Pre-loved is never unloved in our house, thrifted/regifted/recycled/upcycled/whatever - so long as it is in a clean and sound state we're happy
Dislikes/phobias: CLOWNS BIRDS SEQUINS DUCT TAPE PASTEL SHADES HELLO KITTY(or other cutesey stuff) GEOMETRIC DESIGNS POLYESTER
CRAFTED
Knit or crochet 12" squares (100% wool) - to make a blanket for ME. cream/off white/beige/choc brown/duck egg blue or bright blue. There's a link to a Virgo washcloth pattern further down my list, if you could make this to 12" for my blanket I'd be thrilled, stars would be good too. I'm looking for two "A"s, "R" and "N" and also "KKSC", amongst others *lol* I'm aiming for 25 x 12" squares so please feel free to choose this again and again folks!
NEW:
apron - full or half (I'm a big gal)
NEW:
notecards and envelopes, they don't have to match, they just have to fit.
NEW:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=235779.0;topicseen
fabric curlers for my very straight, very fine hair.
NEW:
a clock - I didn't realise I needed a crafty clock until I saw one in my gallery hopping! I'd particularly like an Ouroboros one, I like the time/eternity thing
NEW:
Happy Hooker fluffy bunny slippers sized UK7/USA9/EU41
NEW:
Prairie boots
http://www.cocoknits.com/knit/garments/accessories/prairieboots.html
NEW:
magazine storage boxes like this but decorated
NEW:
Oven mitt and/or hotpads
NEW:
Umbrella painted with "more bloody rain" (obviously this needs to be waterproof *lol* )
Knit or crochet shawl - purple/blue/charcoal grey/peacock greenyblue (yeh thats a real colour!) Acrylic is fine,in fact it's more than fine so long as it isn't scratchy. I love the lionbrand half moon shawls and they work up quite fast with the 9mm hook and the Seraphina shawl
http://www.angelfire.com/journal2/donisfuff/croshawl.html
Artwork - not looking for the Mona Lisa here but I know we have some very talented artists on here and I would be proud to hang your work on my boring walls! Brighten up my life (my home) paintings/collages/photographs/wallhangings all appreciated
Embroidered tea towels -I've been following the Tea Towel Tour swaps and I'd love something like that to give my kitchen a boost. They don't have to be kitchen themed just no cutesy animals/vegetables please.
A set of 4 placemats - bright citrus colours, all 4 don't have to match so long as the colours do.
Knitted socks - not sure if this is too big a wish Huh I'm a UK size 7.5/EU 41. use up your oddments on me, they don't even have to match so long as the size is right! I have fat ankles though so we'll need to talk about measurments if you choose this. Maybe something like these
http://fpea.blogspot.com/2007/04/free-pattern-friday-footies.html
where my fat legs won't cause a problem *lol*
Cushion covers approx 16" square, in duck egg blue or bright blue

Soap - proper old fashioned fat and lye soap as natural as possible, E.Os over F.Os please or even no fragrance at all. no rose or vanilla please.
Crochet or knit cotton washcloths. I'd especially love Zodiac themed ones. I'll try and find a link to the patterns for these. Don't worry I don't want all of them *lol* Virgo for me and Sagit' for my Beloved would be nice though.
http://knitalittle.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/virgo.pdf
http://knitalittle.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/sagittarius.pdf
any cotton wash cloths would be appreciated though.
Personalised items: Growing up I NEVER got things with my name on because of the unusual spelling. Painted pottery or glassware would be cool. Anything really though with KARAN on it. If you can get KARAN KOOKALOO STARR on you'll get bonus points *lol*
Read through my lists and still unsure what to choose? SURPRISE me with something - so long as it fits my themes/styles/likes I won't turn it away

I claim Mlsocci74 for a travel chalkboard.
This is my first claim, none sent, none received.
I am in Wyoming and I have a two-year-old son and a wonderful husband. I like to sew and try new crafts.
Crafts
Sewn
Apron
I love simple dresses and am very open to lots of different fabrics…I just always seem to get frustrated when it’s ME in charge of the sewing!
Circle skirt- with just an elastic waistband, nothing fancy
Any kind of bag- I love the Amy Butler bags I see here, but I am open to pretty much any bag…from little coin purses to big honkin’ tote bags.
Sock Monkey- the original plain sock monkey
BEADWORK
Big chunky necklaces and bracelets
Woodwork/Art
Art- I like art pieces that are smaller and reminiscent of Nick Bantock’s style
http://www.nickbantock.com/
I also am appreciative of any Catholic themed artwork.
Craft Supplies
I need both pinking shears and those little thread snipper scissors.
Amy Butler patterns- new or used
Retro fabrics/retro inspired fabrics- bold prints from the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s.
Kitschy fabrics- silly prints, preferably retro inspired (ie Pin Up Girls)
Crochet kit- I’ve tried OVER and OVER and all I can get is this tiny little sad square that takes days. If there is the crochet whisperer in this group, help me branch out from my sweater machine and Knifty Knitters!
Serger (ha ha! Just in case Bill Gates signed on for OWS 33)
Bias tape of all kinds
Buttons- any kind, any shape. My mom has a giant button tin I’m jealous about. I too often cannibalize existing garments for buttons.
Ribbon- for nothing in particular. I like looking at pretty ribbon and adding it to projects
Rubber stamps- letter groups, stick figures, sayings (Thank you, Happy Birthday, etc.), pretty much anything
Embroidery hoop and floss
Jewelry making supplies...I'm trying desperately to make something that looks good...
Sigh...all of you have been having yarngasms...has a fabricgasm ever happened? 'Cause I want one!
Extras
Stuff from where you are or stuff that's unique to you. I also have a two-year-old who is still excited by little things for him.
A little about me: I’m a wife, mother and engineer. I mostly sew, but I also like doing some yarn stuff with my full collection of Knifty Knitter looms. I do a little embroidery, but mostly rustic. I really like Italian inspired items, Spanish and Mexican influence items, bright bold colors and retro kind of things. I LOVE the 40’s and 50’s…the styles, the colors, the tailoring. I like wearing knits, but I can’t seem to sew them. I’m a fan of thrifted items and like to live by reduce/reuse/recycle. This first wish list was hard to put together, so definitely let me know if you need more and I am SO open to someone making me something I didn’t think of for myself. I was the kid who always loved ordering the “grab box” from companies that then grew up to be a ebay sucker for lots of things.

I claim mountaingrrl for...
Sigh...all of you have been having yarngasms...has a fabricgasm ever happened? 'Cause I want one!
This is my third claim (none sent yet) and I'm in Canada. I'll get my list.
Crafted Stuff
* Wind chimes - something silvery or blue or both and tinkly (as opposed to loud and clanky).
* Other stuff for my deck – window boxes, decorated pots, all-weather cushions, etc. (black, grey, blue, tan and any mixtures of those colours).
*
Wrist corsage-style pin cushion.
--
thanks ritapizza
* Sewing machine cover, something awesome and funky.
* Yummy smelling fruity candles (especially coconut and citrus), no florals please. Anybody make soy candles?
* Project Journal – 3 Ring Binder Style.
* Birding journal – small decorated, lined book to keep track of the birds I see.
* Video iPod case – I’m afraid to take it anywhere, which defeats the purpose of an iPod. Nothing too cutesy please. Padded fabric or a soft yarn would be awesome.
* Pillow and cases and covers and cushions – embroidered, sewn, quilted, stenciled, whatever. Lots of examples on my wists.
* I broke my magnifying compact and I still haven’t replaced it, and I thought someone might want to make me a decorated one?? Yes/no?? Must be magnifying, I am old and blind.
*
Wall hanging/mini-quilt – black and white (with some colour is okay), up to 24 inches wide, any length. Is that too huge of a wish?
--
apparently not, THANK YOU quilted!!!
* Something for the cats – scratching post, kitty pi, fabric cat bed, hammock, igloo, tunnel, basically anything they can sleep in, on or around. Ideas on my wist too.
* I am fascinated by the whole bento concept. Is there such a thing as a starter kit?
Supplies
* Fabric or flat cotton sheets (double size or larger) in any black/white combo. I need two (they don't have to match, in fact I'd prefer them not to) to make a duvet cover out of. Used is fine as long as they aren't stained or worn out. Unless you desperately want to make me the duvet cover.
That would work too.
* Yarn – I do not recognize the concept of too much yarn, it is impossible. I am on a mission to make afghans/lapghans for the “local” nursing homes, so non-crappy acrylic (especially soft baby acrylic) is always good, though I really don’t need more white. There’s no such thing as too much cotton (especially bright colours). In spite of my allergy, I have a list of want-to-do patterns longer than my arm that are felted, so I’m ready to try wool again.
-- thanks Therisa
I’d also love to try fancy types that I can’t get here – soy, bamboo, hemp, wool blends, etc. Especially bamboo. I have a project in mind for my mom that requires 4x80g of a bamboo yarn. A bright or jewel tone colour would be fantastic. I hate buying online, I always get the colour wrong. This being said, I do not recognize “novelty yarn” (including the evil boucle) as actual yarn. No need to send any of that.
* Soy wax. I can't seem to find any locally.
* Cool buttons!
* Glass vase marble thingies (like this
http://www.save-on-crafts.com/glassvasegems1.html
) in dark blue, clear or silver.
* Crochet hooks (I seem to be running low on E-I, I keep giving them away when I teach people) – used are fine, I’ve never used anything but Boye so all these bamboo, comfort-grip, fancy-schmancy hooks interest me.
Extras
* Piano (any level) sheet music. If it’s not my style I’ll use it for a decoupage project idea.
* Coffees and teas from oh-so-foreign lands (aka anywhere that isn’t small town Canada).
* See above but substitute gum.
* I love interesting foods and recipes. I live in the middle of nowhere, I have to drive an hour to buy milk, so I’d love to receive “exotic” ingredients. Please don’t send anything perishable, mail takes forever to get here.
* Surprise me! I like useful things as opposed to purely decorative. Storage ideas are always appreciated.
* I have a
wist
. It’s growing every day!
About Me
Hi, I’m Allison, a 30-whatever year this is (8??) year old hermit from the wilds of Ontario. Seriously, I have more deer and bears visit than people, and I’m okay with that. I am completely ready for the apocalypse and would be happy to share my rutabagas and pemmican making skills with the people of Craftster. I have two large dogs and three cats that think they are dogs. These days my primary craft is crochet though I’m attempting to better my embroidery skills. I have trouble remember to take pictures of FOs, but I finally have a digital camera, it’s around here somewhere. I have the attention span of a gnat.
I love nature and animals (except when they’re eating my garden or ripping open the garbage bin), music and books. I love the idea of babies (which is why I’m a fantastic baby shower guest) but would sooner chew off my own arm than have one. I don’t have a favourite colour, though I do believe that yellow is best used sparingly and bright turquoise is a tool of the devil. I refuse to acknowledge the existence of neons. I am decorating a new house and you can check my profile for colour schemes if you want. I’m allergic to most metal and don’t wear jewelry. I don't have a sweet tooth but I'm addicted to coffee, gum and potato chips. I never use a sentence when I can use an entire paragraph. Also, I’m only marginally computer literate but I’m working on it.
Thanks in advance to whoever claims me.

I claim ritapizza for a patchwork/quilted pillow cover.
This is my 2nd claim with 0 sent and 0 received.
My name is Mimi and I am in Georgia. I don’t have any allergies but I really dislike pastel colors. I love the outdoors and all sorts of outdoor activities (camping, backpacking, climbing, kayaking). I am not a fan of lace or anything frilly. I am trying to grow vegetables this year and I love gardening and playing in the dirt. I have 2 large dogs and a husband.
Crafts:
*Stenciled/ Appliquéd/ Screen Printed Shirts (size medium) – birds, backpacking, trees and nature are good themes (for examples:
http://www.wists.com/mimiw
)
*Plant stakes with their names for my herb garden
*An address book – preferably one with refillable pages
*Decorated airtight tins to store my teas
*Hand carved stamps
*Patchwork anything – lots of examples in my wists
*Thrummed mittens like these in more earthy colors:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=231336.msg2583351#msg2583351
*Fun “to-do” lists and grocery lists
Handmade cards
Thanks scienceissexy!
*A knit/crocheted market bag like this one:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=239451.0
*Custom stencils
*Knit socks in fun colors. I really like these:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11004983
*Embroidered pillowcases for my guest room
*Handmade manly smelling soaps for the hubby
*Anything inspired by my wists:
http://www.wists.com/mimiw
Supplies:
*Ikea fabric!! I don’t have one near me and I love their fabric!
*Cookie Cutters (new or used)
*Vegetarian cookbooks (recycled are fine) or make me a recipe book of your own!
*Craft books (new or used) – there are a bunch on my wists
*Zippers
Extras
I am a chocolate freak…actually, any candy for that matter!
Dog treats or doggie gifts are always welcome!
TEA!!

I claim mimiw for plant stakes!
This is my second claim, 0 sent so far, 0 received
Let me know if I slipped something into my list thats a no-no Smiley
**Craft Supplies/Kits**
Soap Making Kit
Different cool/weird beads
Diamond Glaze
Guitar Picks - Any colors, preferably in pairs if possible
Charms and Stuff I can use to make earrings and Jewelry
Yarn, yarn, yarn! Any colors :-D I NEED white right now!
Chain - Old broken necklace? Send it to me! As well as beaded necklaces you don't want. I can totally recon the chain, findings, and beads!
Molds - I recently started working with clay and I'd like some molds to play with.
Retro or Vintage Style Fabric
Rubber Stamps & Ink
Embossing Supplies (I have the heat gun)
Sewing Patterns that are easy to convert to Plus Size
Handles for making bags
Stickers - I Love stickers!
Random papers, embellishments and other stuff I can use for my visual journal
**Wearables/Accessories**
A monster purse like one of these in dark blue or black fur…
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=190912.0
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45906.0
An awesome everyday purse
Crochet Bandanas like this...
http://travel-headwear.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-to-crochet-bandana.html
Vintage-y full apron like this
http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/apronpl5.jpg
it doesn't have to have the heart shape at the top, anything is cool. I just need long ties since I'm a big girl :-D
Project Journal – 3 Ring Binder Style
Recipe Box (needs to be able to fit index cards). Colors? Chocolate brown and Light Pink although I'm flexible on the colors.
I NEED something to hold my bracelets! I would love something that stands up on the dresser so I can see all my bracelets, right now they are in a box and I never wear them cuz I don't see them! HUGE wish!
**Bonus**
I use a TON of post-its at work so if you come across any cool/funny/different post-its send them my way Smiley
Pens...lots of pens.
