Love it! And your croquet tradition reminds me of that Louis Sachar book "Dogs Don't Tell Jokes", in which a group of characters don funny hats to play croquet. (Please don't tell me I'm the only person who thinks that reading children's books counts as a constructive use of the afternoon...)

Cute and inspiring. I now want to try my hand at rouching. Is it pretty easy? Since I don't have a serger I was wondering how to get those lettuce egdes.

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

I love this dress so much.It just looks fun to wear. The croquet thing makes me think of the movie Heathers..... I need to watch that again soon. Smiley

I love this dress!  You picked a wonderful style for the vintage fabric!  It also looks very comfy and ready for a lot of events!

I think you are right about the high thread count because your skirt flows so beautifully!

your dress is adorable!  and i mean that in the best way!

i would like to try to make something similar, but I have a question.  is the bodice part and the skirt made separately?  i'm trying to figure out how the unsewed pieces might look like!
