I loved this idea.  Thank you for sharing your pattern piece which took a lot of the mystery out of it in the beginning.  
I'm working on making it a PDF.  I'm also going for the Redondo swirly look.

Awesome skirt.
I have a question about the wrap part for the waist. If you put the tie all the way around the top, how do you tie it without the long part having to wrap around your waist again? All of the wrap skirts I've made have the tie go along the waist, then stop a certain amount of inches from the end then leave the rest of the skirt to have to be buttoned inside. Does the tie go around the waist, then around again before tying?
