I got 2 smalls done and the medium half done and the large is still teasing me a bit ... still not exactly sure how to start it yet or if it is what I want to make  .

Still trying to finish up loose ends for my make a friend swap final package, so I can focus on this swap and the reduce reuse and recycle swap...

Hope all is well with everyone... I have a few good ideas from my partners wists!!! went out thrift shopping yesterday looking for specific things but didn't find what I wanted... have to go again tomorrow perhaps, or use something I have of my own... hmmm...  My partner is very talented, its hard to decide what to do, I want to make her some great stuff so I am thinkin hard!!! lol

ok so I've finished one medium and two medium/largish items!  I always have trouble doing smalls ..... my ideas are just too big!  I can't WAIT to finish my other things and send!!

We went yesterday and I battled a bunch of chicks with my boyfriend in the area I needed to look in. I found the cool-est radest things ever HINT: pyschobilly madness! A bit more than I thought I would spend but I hope the results are worth it. One of the items I awwed over so much my boyfriend had to buy me my own...

Today I went to a bunch of Thrift Stores looking for a dresser for my boyfriend but also something for the swap I hope to pull off! I did not find it but I have a few idea-places to go to next week. Also next week we are going to SF for a concert and to stay the night (a B&B on Haight) while there I will be hittin' up WasteLand, End Of The Trail and other fun stores for ideas...There was a lil goth/rockabilly store called Faktory on Haight (they even started carrying my jewelry!) but they closed down.

We are always up in SF for concerts. We are going this coming week and the next time in mid may.

I love Waste Land - they have a vintage photobooth that takes b/w pics in the back. Each time we go we take pictures. Held Over is another cool palce, everything is sorted into periods and styles...If you sew the fabric store on Haight is pretty cool for off beat stuff. The craft store has a lot of neat buttons.The 70s is pretty wacky. We spend a good chunk of time and money at Amoeba for music. Since we know Haight so well we stay at Red Vic and do a lot of shopping there. When we get off BART I like down town, Sephora, H&M, Rasputin, then if I am feeling brave we go to Westfeild - mostly because my boyfriend loves Beard Papa...Pearl is nice down the street for craft stuff...


I wish I had the $ to live in SF.
