Ok I want to dye some merino tencil I have some rit dye and wiltons can I use either? and How do you get darker colors?

Since tencel is a plant based fiber and merino is a protien based fiber you can use either dye. What is the blend if there is more merino then tencel (like an 80/20 blend) then I would use wiltons since it will bond to the protien fibers. If there is more tencel go with the RIT. However I don't like the way RIT dye makes fibers like wool feel.
