I really like that Simplicity Project Runway patterns and when I saw the jacket pattern I knew that I had to make one. I found this linen fabric that has silver woven through. I was stalking it at joanns and when it finally went on sale I had to buy it. The jacket turned out really well and I am acually quite impressed with myself (my mom was also impressed my sewing ability and she who taught me how to sew.) I went home for Easter and was able to whip through it with the help of my mom's serger. The jacket is lined as well and it was my first time lining anything and I looks really good even on the inside.

Here is the jacket. You can see that the fabric is very shiny form the silver.

When I went to sew the sleeve on they didn't quite match up so I did a little gathering at the top. I really love the ruffle!

Really nice!

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.
