I fell in love with this shrug posted by spirals420 and I used her tutorial as a guideline/inspiration.

You'll notice that there aren't any horns, I tried to make them and they looked bad, I think I'll get some more knitting practice in before trying to add them again.

I really like how the back looks with the red Y shape.  This is my first finished knitted item(not counting washcloths and scarves) and I think it turned out pretty well since it taught myself to knit using the stitch and bitch book and Knittinghelp.com videos.
I used size 8 needles and Caron simply soft yarn.

well look at that!!! hahahha!!! it looks great!  im sure the instructions sucked balls but you got the gist of it for sure!  im very impressed...

Your instructions were great(thanks for sharing them), I just used a totally different type of yarn and it took a lot more stitches(I also have big arms) and I had a couple of mishaps along the way, but I finally made it through.  I think that if I made another one it would go much faster.  I hoping to be able to add the horns eventually Grin.

awesome.. well i am super stoked for you... and i should really get my butt in gear and make another one... i have made 3 or 4 with slight differences in each... but this original is the one that i rock the most (well, considering i sold one of the other ones i cant really wear it...)
