First of, let me just say that I feel sort of lame posting this, because when I opened Craftster to do so I saw in Hot Topics this really cute little fleece dog bed that kicks this one's butt.  Roll Eyes Oh well.
I thought I could make the dog a cheaper pillow than the $35 ones they sell at Walmart, and succeeded in doing so using garage sale fabric and a GIANT stash of plastic grocery bags to fill it. (I used every last one that we had, by the way.) Smiley That is the only reason that I bother posting this. I know that a lot of the people on this site are way into recycling, and thought that they may appreciate the idea.

Ignore my half painted walls in the background, please.

Rose (the dog) seems to like it.  Grin

My girls love their puppy, and she's so tolerant of them. Also, excuse my children's appearances. It's the end of the day, the older is in pajamas, and the younger is covered in ketchup.  Roll Eyes

(I didn't need that many pictures, but I just think my pup is really cute.)

Ally, that is such a great idea! Always looking for new eco friendly ideas Smiley And rather than some things that only use up a plastic bag here and there, this one utilises heaps in one go. Well done you, I'd be proud of myself. And your puppy is gorgeous Smiley

Your dog looks so happy! She must really love it.  Cheesy

My mom has a huge stash of plastic bags (we ALWAYS forget to take them to be recycled) and they are taking over our chair by the back door...I will try to suggest this to her.  Wink

I had to find something to do with mine. We don't have a place to recycle plastic bags where I live. There's a drop off box for pop cans, which we never have anyway, and that's it.  Undecided

That's a really wonderful idea, and like rillawolf said it's great that it uses up sooo many bags in one sitting!

And your pup is super cute-- is it a Golden Retriever mix?? And, by the way, your girls are super cute too!  Cheesy

I think it's a great way to use up the plastic Smiley
and your pooch could use that other doggie bed (however cute) as a pillow so this is just awesome.

Happy pooch. That makes me smile.
Great work.

That's a great pillow! I think you need to make two more for your girls while they are hanging out with the dog!
