Finally, I get my act together and actually, like, post something. Hi. I'm very new around here. I think I've posted once a few weeks back, then neglected to do anything until I could get the photo hosting thing sorted out. Now I have, and now it's Australia Day, so I have time to do things, like embroider a t-shirt for Le Tigre (eep!)

Anyhoozle, I had some pink drill, a zip and the greenest, spottiest cotton you ever did see lying around, so I decided to whip up this quick (and, to be honest, a little shoddy) bag with it. First I did a little embroidery sampler on the sides in black because I was bored and watching 'Lord of the Rings.' Here is a weeny photo of it.

Here is a detail of the embroidery.

Now the lining, in all its polkadotty splendour. Now with cosmetic products - yeah, Bloom lip gloss is like crack.

So, yes. Let me know what you think, I am an insufferable novice, after all.

The extent to which I love anything green with white polka dots, ESPECIALLY when there is magenta involved, is about to make me squee all over your shoes.

And I'm sure yer shoes are rad too.

In case I wasn't clear enough, I love it.

Eventually I will think of something good to put in here.  Or maybe I won't.  Nah, I probably won't.

Your polka-dotty splendor is the bee's knees. You rock. Why is lime green intimidating to me? It always looks so good in everyone else's projects... Smiley

I don't need a baby growing inside me for nine months. For one thing, there's morning sickness. If I'm going to feel nauseous and achy when I wake up, I want to achieve that state the old fashioned way: getting good and drunk the night before.
