I posted this pattern over on flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/beetasticfinds/2365124945/ and had that Partridge family song in my head so I had to embroider it to try and get it out of my head.  I went a little color crazy but I love it.

I was able to use 4 new stitches that I had not done before.

Too pretty...but you've now got the Partridge Family song stuck in my head now!  *stare*

Walks out singing:
Hello world, here's the song that we're singin'
C'mon get happy!
A whole lot of lovin' is what we'll be bringin'
We'll make you happy!

That is adorable!!

Did you do the stripe embellishment on the bottom or was that just the tea towel you got?

Either way, it's awesome. Super cute.

I will be out of town June 11-20 with limited computer access. (Be patient with me, I'm on the beach!)

My evil plan has worked others will get the song stuck in their head too. hehe.

I added the striped fabric on the bottom.  I bought the fabric last year at a quilt shop in Oregon.  I loved it but had nothing to do with it so glad a year later I was able to use it.

Cool I think is very nice, cutesy and cool at the same time !  Love the colors and you did great with the new stitches ! The fabric you chose really compliments the colors on the design. I've never added a fabric band to a tea towel.. is it like only a stripe of fabric on the front or is the piece of fabric extending the length of the tea towel (so it shows from front and back) ?

Thanks for sharing !
