Look what I woke up to this morning!

What's going on...?

*Squee!* Cheesy It's a baby! With her proud mommy, Fern Grin

Love Mite babies are born white, and don't develop color until they're about a week old. They don't open their eyes until they're a few days old.

Here she's heard the camera shutter and she's wandering towards me under her mother's watchful eye Grin

We know who the mommy is, but who's the daddy...?

Aaaaah. He's new in town, too Grin

The happy family Cheesy

Made with size 10 cotton crochet thread and a size 7 steel hook, and the antennae are 22 gauge cloth stem wire (a pain in the arse to curl when it has to be so small! Shocked ) The baby mite stands about 3/4" tall from the floor to the top of her anntennae!

I hadn't seen any mites before. They're so cute! I like that the white grown-ups get sparkly antennae! I love baby, too. Smiley
