So, I've decided to stop lurking and post something.  I made this to go with a cosplay my cousin and I are doing for this anime convention next weekend that we and our friends go to every year.  It's from the manga series Chobits and it's sort of a foreshadowing device in the story but in my life it's just a cute felt bunny rabbit.  Here it is:




and a close up:







That last picture is atashi just hanging out with puuchuu (from the anime series Excel saga, that I turned from a hat into a stuffed animal) and a blue samurai guy who likes to hold my stitch holders.

I might post pictures of the cosplay and everything when we're done with it.  I'm making a second atashi for my cousin and actually taking pictures of the process so I might be able to put on a tutorial later, the first one was really trial-and-error (and probably not the most convenient way of making it, ah well, ah well.)

Whew - done with my first topic post ever.  Anyway, thanks for looking!

Scrolling through the pics, before reading the description  (acck so a.d.d at times...oooh look it's something shiny   Grin ) I thought...hey isn't that the bunny From Chobits... And it is..Yatta!!

I saw this and I instantly thought of Chobits...and it is from Chobits!! It's so cute ....I want one for myself...I'd love to see the tutorial if you make one...oh, and you should definitely post the pictures of the cosplay!

oh I LOVE Atashi!!!  I've been thinking of asking a friend of mine to make me an Atashi-style hat (I have a hat that has bunny ears that she made me, but I want LOOOOOOOOOOONG ears Tongue).  she is so cute!  great job!
