"Demon Barber of Fleet Street" is just WOW! It looks so interesting.  I also love Starlight and Carolina On my Mind.  Loop's batts are just gorgeous... I have some in the mail now, can't wait!

This week I have a few I've finished
"Morning Mist"  hand carded merino/firestar played with iridescent thread that I hand tied iridescent glass beads on.

The rest of the singles after I ran out of thread I tried out navajo plying and 2ply from a center pull ball

My other skein this week is from some sprinkle dyed merino I picked up at a fiber show earlier this month.
I'm calling it "Into the Deeps"

The remaining singles after my first bobbin was full I made a 2ply and then tried out andean plying with the remainder

Koi Pond Humane Romney wool and firestar, bulky singles yarn.

Bon Bon 80s merino chocolate superbulky single plied with a yummy superfine 80s merino single.

And my favorite,

Chimera Handcarded merino, soysilk, and sparkle.  Lots of sparkle!

nice job everyone!  once again I'm too disorganized to take photos this week.

Jazzturtle - what does it mean when you say the yarn has a "halo"?  I've never heard that before.

OH! I know I know! Halo means that it has a fuzzy effect... eyelash could be considered to have a halo... it's more like the FO looks super fuzzy like it's still fur or something...

OK, I'm new, I don't know all the lingo, and the only reason I know halo, is because i LOVE halo! I want to spin up some halo-ie stuff so I can do a yummy shawl!!!

exactly.  In the last photo of the Tropical Storms I tried to get some of the halo.. you can sorta see it..

My fave halo pic is from HollyEQQ (who I got the locks from) She captured it amazingly on her most recent yarns..

I have only two yarns to post this week. Things have been really busy/stressful/pre-occupied-with-other-things, but still fit in a little time to spin Wink

First we have:

Mantequilla!
Commercial Dyed 80/20 Merino/Silk
4.1 oz
267 yards total
It is ridiculously soft and silky... like butter Wink

Then we haaaave:

Mother Earth
Hand dyed with wiltons, spun, then over dyed because i hated it Tongue
Mill ends from the Sheep Shed
3.5 oz
meeeh, havent counted the yardage or tagged it yet... I will though.

I started knitting some fingerless mitts with my Autumn Kisses that I posted last time around and it is knitting up so nicely! It's my first legit project with my own handspun.
