well one way is to just do a regular clear bangle and set the words in it and paint the backing with acrylic paint when its set and done. ive seen that done before so that the background is one color but the front is clear. with bangles its kinda hard because they dont lie flat(so u can see the inside without any plastic in the way) otherwise u might have been able to just put the dye on top  but doesnt work that way really.

I don't know, except to place a second piece inside that's not wide enough to take up the whole mold, and then add your paper to the outer layer when you pour the clear resin. I've cast a bracelet in a bracelet, but not anything that would be a perfect fit for a background... But other than placing a narrower solid piece in the mold I don't know how you'd do it...

I glanced at something and saw more mis-spellings that I could ever imagine, how do people read anything I type? How do you type with a monkey crawling al over you?!

Hi.. Love the bangles.  I have tried a few and they turned out ok but I get a big inward dip on the top side where the resin must sink when it is setting.  Do yours do this too and if so any ideas on how to prevent it...Do you sand your pieces to get any rough edges off?
