I wanted to make something that was thin and soft. And that was not me. (I'm not pink! I'm not flowery!)

I made 4 pieces, felted them a bit by hand and them poked some holes in them. I sewn the holes round the edges to make them bigger and more distinct. And I painted some flowers and leaves on them. Then I sewn them on flowersticks painted white.

And the I made some cords(tassels?).... with beads ans small chrystals in.

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

It looks like the fabric has air space enough that the bulb would not cause trouble.

Thank you Cheesy

Yes, I've been using it for awhile now and it hasn't been a problem. It's quite wide, so the lightbulb has some space.

I'm not a pinky/flowery person either, but my goodness that is absolutely gorgeous! It's so soft and elegant. Love it!

it seems this particular one isnt a fire hazard but just as an FYI in the future for anyone...you can buy stuff in a spray can at the hardware store that makes things flame retardant. im unsure of the name/brand of it but i know its out there  Smiley
