I think I finally did it! I finally (after many years) perfected my tote bag pattern! Yay!
This one I call “Springtime”. The fabrics are inspired by a bag I saw online… but the REALLY cool stuff is on the inside- my two new “secret weapons”.

First off, the bag will never sag, flap or flop- because its been interlined with soft plastic canvas (wrapped in thin batting for that extra-soft feel).
Secondly, the handles will never bunch, scrunch or munch (munch?) because they’re filled with upholstery cording.

I’m so excited!! It’s my most favorite bag EVER!

Fantastic!  I love the handles, and that the bag will never lose its shape.  The set of the zipper is well beyond my skills - great job!

Fabric choices are gorgeous - so happy and springy!

Love the look of the bag. Wish I were skilled enough to sew up something as beautiful as that.

I love the internal zipper!  All too often bags are open on the top, too easy for your stuff to fall out.

I also love the colors, very spring!

Thanks guys- the inset zipper thing was one of those bigtime trial and error things... I think the second time I use this design, things will go much smoother!

I love the fabrics you used!  I would totally tote a laptop to the park in something so cheery. Congrats on perfecting your pattern Smiley
