This is awesome - I'd love for my students to do something creative like this for an independent project!

it was a design choice based on size and medium constraints to leave out the extra line for the double bonds.  (Sorry for the geek talk!  Shocked)

You could do add an extra row right next to it in a separate color to show the double bonds. Just a thought.

So wonderful! I'm a crafty physicist so I think this is the best. Plus I love typography and think the lettering is quirky and fabulous.  Grin

The molecules aren't supposed to be amino acids (since there aren't any in DNA), but representations of the purines and pyrimidines that compose DNA - it was a design choice based on size and medium constraints to leave out the extra line for the double bonds.  (Sorry for the geek talk!  Shocked)

Hooray for your design choices, for carbon skeletons, and for the reassurance that I'm not the only "geeky" craftster!  (I mean that in a really nice way, no worries  Cheesy)

I majored in Biology in college and I love love love your project.  The DNA "page" with the little swaddled baby is ridiculously adorable.

I love it. Especially the DNA one (and it's awesome how you put in the details like matching the base pairs up right and putting different colors for carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen!) This definitely get a "This Rocks!"

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.
