The Hat City Scissor Squad's Annual Craft Supply Swap!

Hi Craftsters! The Hat City Scissor Squad is a Danbury based crafting group that gets together to craft, schmooze, and sometimes even booze every Tuesday night.  Once a year we throw a party and swap all of our craft supplies!

This year, we'll be having it on Saturday evening, April 26th in Woodbury, CT.  This is a private party, so I won't be posting the address on Craftster, BUT I would like to extend an invitation to any local Craftsters who would like to participate.

Details:

-Bring any and all craft supply items (Except yarn, knitting, spinning and crochet related items. We hold a separate swap just for fiber every year. This swap is meant for all other craft supplies.) Things that you are likely to see at the swap are fabric, paper, jewelry making supplies, bath and body supplies, and more.

-We also accept cooking and gardening items.

-Bring as much or as little as you like.  We draw numbers from a hat and take turns picking one item at a time.  We don't worry about who brought more than who.  Instead we take the chance to unload our unwanted items without worrying about keeping score. It's sort of a free for all.

-We'll also be having a craft challenge this year.  We'll be making paper flowers. So, please plan on bringing with you a pair of scissors and any paper you can scrounge up (scrapbooking paper, crepe paper, old magazines, newspaper... all of these are great!) We'll supply the other necessary items for the challenge. (glue, tape, etc.)

So if you would like to join us please send me a PM me with your email address. I'll have an Evite sent to you ASAP with the details. I do ask that you PLEASE RSVP to the Evite after you send it.  We'll need to know how many people are coming to arrange food, drink, and whatnot.

Hope to see some Craftsters there!!
