Just got my copy in the mail today (saw a mention of it on felt.co.nz and decided to investigate) - I've only flipped through it so far, but it looks pretty interesting. Really nice to have something local to discuss craft seriously, makes us feel like part of a vibrant community!

I think it's fab - they've done a beautiful job on the first issue, and I hope they get a lot of support. As octopusgrrl said, it's great to finally have a local mag for the crafty niche, so we should all be spreading the word to help them get it established.

I agree with the good reviews - I'm really enjoying reading my copy.  I ordered mine online and it arrived the next day! How good is that?  Thinking I might have to attempt the beer bottles to glass tumblers project...

it's a real mix
the first half is cute crafty object and projects you can make yourself
the second half is articles

some with an eco theme some with a craft theme one with a blogging theme
and for $8 it's not going to break the bank to try it out

I should note they sponsor Craft2.0 so i'm very much biased about it's awesomness

Wow I'd heard of this but didn't realise it was a flash magazine!  I'm gonna have to get me some!

Ooh I got sent one and it's awesome!  And $8 is unbelievable.  It cost about $35 to get Craft Magazine from Borders over here and WSW isn't that different in format, just a wee bit thinner.    There's this caramel walnut slice in the 2nd issue which is AMAZING.

I totally recommend people get out and get a copy and support this mag.  Too often these magazines die and early death due to lack of support.  They're also looking for contributors, I'm thinking of submitting something to them.
