I made a bag for myself! It's all mine. That almost never happens, it's always for other people!  Tongue I made the pattern, I wanted something big enough to carry all my stuff plus a book, and a long strap to go across my torso to make it more comfortable, I walk a lot and I hate when handles slip down. Both the top and the pocket close with magnetic snaps and I added a little appliqu. It's fully lined and the outside is interfaced.

The only thing is that it's pulling a bit at the snap closure on the pocket, but I really love it anyway. I had a few compliments on it, that's always very nice. Smiley

I'm the same way, and I'm sure many of us are: Crafting for others comes first. I made a deal with myself: for every swap I was in, I have to make something for myself. I recommend we all do that!

It's very cute - I like the pink w/the gray. I bet the pockets come in real handy. I like your applique work too - I have yet to try that.
