You pour your liquid fabric softener into a squirt bottle (obviously dilute if it's the concentrated kind) and then spray the fabric sheet a few times and throw into the dryer. It replaces the regular kind of fabric softener sheets and a bottle will last a really long time. So, you aren't throwing away the disposable sheets and you save money on the fabric softener as well.

Word and image heavy...

I received from Lunastara today just as I was packing up everything to send to her (I hope you don't have to wait too long Lunastara!)  I received the most amazing swap package.  I hope my pictures can do everything justice:


Cute vest top in my favourite colour. It says Recycling and dying to live (Lunastara and I are both vegetarian).  The bigger purple blobs are skulls.


Slightly fuzzy image of purple and green felted bangle. The two colours merge together and remind me of those sweets when I was a kid. Applejacks?  It's adorned with beads, sequins and buttons (anyone who knows me knows I'm mad on buttons and they're all over my wists).  Oh and you can see my reminder to myself to get brown paper to wrap up Lunastara's parcel hehe (yes, I know you shouldn't write on your hand but my memory is awful and in fact I forgot the brown paper when I was out shopping but thankfully the post office sells it (not all of them here do)).


Hard to get a good photo of this one - a neckalce made from part cord, part chain with more buttons, beads, safety pins and ribbon.  I'm wearing both it and the bangle now. They go well with the purple t-shirt I'm wearing today.

You'll never guess what this is made from!!  Well, you might actually, but I couldn't until I read Lunastara's letter.  It's from a ground sheet from when she was camping in England last year.  It's the best use of recycling I've seen and I am in love with it. It has fabric fused and stitched to it and is adorned with beads and felted...dreadlocks I suppose haha.  It has handy pockets too for those easy-to-lose things and the best bit in my opinion is the use of the ground sheet's holes for the toggle fastening!

Cute package! I totally thought that was tarp material (and as it turns out, I was right!). Very inspiring too! (I think we may have an old tarp hanging around somewhere... I could see some really neat waterproof goodies made from it!)

I was thinking the same thing.  I also like the contrast between the inside and outside colors.
