Ok, here are pics.  I'll put them in the CO section as well, but thought I'd add them on here.  Please keep in mind three things.  1) My mother's digital camera is not the greatest and her home is all a rich and pretty but weird wall color, so there really wasn't a great place to take the pics.  2) It really looks way better in person.  Don't know why it looks so cheesy in the pics.  3) Please disregard my body.  I'm not nearly as cute as most of the people who seem to post pics on here.  *sigh*

After finishing the thing, I think perhaps even another 2" (the ribbing in the pics is 11", but it just exactly used up the ball, and though I had another ball left over, I didn't really want to add it just to do an inch or two of ribbing.) of the ribbing would be more like the original.  I also think that this yarn is way bulkier than the example, and while I LOVE the way mine turned out, for a more elegant look, something of a lighter weight would be in order.  I'm actually thinking of making up a couple more in other yarns I have around that might be closer to the original.  We'll see.

hi, I know it's an old post and all, but I live in France and think I have this magazine "fait main" where this pattern for that very "perfect shrug" is. ...I knew I had seen it somewhere.
If someone is ever interested, guess I could translate...
