Instead of updating every time I made a new monster, I decided to hold off, and post a big bunch of them all at once!  Monsters of all different shapes and sizes.  I try to make them all unique from eachother, and sometimes write little stories for them, as if they were a real species. Grin

To see a better view of these guys, since most of the pictures got automatically resized by craftser, just right click "view image"

First off is my favorite one I've made so far, My Little Monster: Weeko!

Weekos are extremely excitable creatures. Usually found in the white sands of tropical islands such as Bermuda and Hawaii, tripping tourists and grabbing their toes. They love to dance and often sneak in to local clubs in ladies purses, and boogie down until they pass out, and are found the next morning, curled up and sleeping under a barstool.

About 14 inches tall, all handsewn!

This is My Little Monster: Fugee.  A monster you should watch out for.  He'll eat all your hotdogs. Grin

Little Monster Girl, made for someones girlfriends birthday

MEGA MONSTER PILLOW.  About 18 x 16, not including the antlers.  All handsewn.  Ohhh my poor fingers.  His mouth is a pocket, too!

My Little Monster: Folo

Folos are a breed of monster most misunderstood by humans. Born with a heavy underbite, it make them look dangerous, and even angry. But the Folos are very gentle, quiet creatures. Their spots above their eyes will glow different colors as they feel different emotions. Blue, for sad. Green, for frightened. And red, for love. They are rarely ever angry.
This one would like to give you a flower.

Ponto the Pocket Mouthed Monster

what is Ponto, you ask? well, he's not a monkey, a cat, or even a bear. He's his very own breed of animal, the Pontacio. Found only under the waterfalls of Argentina they feed on tiny fish that fall down the falls, and like to swim, propelling their limbless bodies by spinning their tails like they were a tiny, furry motorboat.
His mouth is a pocket!

My Little Monster: Og

Very few Ogs still roam the forests of the world. They were easy targets for predators, with their bright colors on their face. They also could not get away fast enough, as they don't have any sort of limbs. Help keep the Ogs from going into extinction! Don't let them face the same fate as the Dodo birds.
His mouth is a pocket, too!

A fits-in-your-hand baby monster!

I started a project of making a mini monster, 3-4 inches tall each, for each letter of the alphabet.  I've made it to F so far, but I only have pictures of A-D right now. Grin

I hope these made you Smiley

These are so awesome!!!!!!!!

I LOVE BIP!!!! & Fugee & the Mega Monster Pillow.

They did make me smile...I really do love Bip. What types of materials do you use for embellishments (eyes, face, antlers)? It looks like felt. I so wanna make one, in this style. It's amazing.

yep, its felt!  and just little swatches of faux fur for the body.  the eyes are just tiny circular black beads.  I was thinking about maybe making mini monster kits for people to buy, think people would be interested in that?  Just like putting all the necessary pieces to make a little monster in a little box, along with pattern and instructions

I heart the FOLO!!!!!  Actually I like any animal with an underbite, but that's beside the point.  I kind of want to reach into the computer and steal your little folo. Grin

YES! I think that people would so buy them. Little kits for the smaller ones, in different styles. I mean, these are awesome. I've seen your drawings too, if you wanted to be very grandiose about it you could make novelty items. I would so buy like, sheets and pillows, and a comforter.

But you probably have no inclination to turn your stuff into some crazy mass market mogul.

Anywho, I think little kits would be an excellent idea  Grin.

Oh my, those are awesome!  I love the little stories you have to go with them.  For such ferocious-looking beasties, they're really rather friendly, aren't they?

Folo reminds me of my chow/pekingnese mix. He has an underbite too.  You have a great imagination.  I love the stories.  Keep up the great work!
