hey! i have the most horrid bathroom. the walls need painted, and luckily our landlord is really cool about it. only problem is i don't know what to paint them. i have to match the shower curtain (because i'm too cheap to buy a new one.) and the bottom half of the wall which is this linoleum-like stuff.

i have a theme in mind for the bathroom. (i don't wanna say, cause it's super awesome. you'll see when it's done.  Wink) but really, the theme could be done with a myriad of colors. the hubby vetoed my choice, a medium-dusky yellow like yukon gold potatoes.

any suggestions?

How much time do you have?  I'd say do the shower curtain pattern on the walls Smiley  One pint of each color should do it ....

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

that's a very neat idea, but i lack the patience! hahaha..  Cheesy

i was thinking more of a solid, non-blue color. my living room is going to be blue, my kitchen pea-green. so something other than those. it's the first time i've lived somewhere i can paint the walls so i want it as colorful as possible!

Tomato Red.  Since it's only the top of the wall, it wouldn't be too overwhelming.  Plus the bottom of the wall is so light, that I would do a bold color up there.

Tomato red like keeperrox said would be pretty, or a deep orange. A bright color that completly contrasts the blue would make it look super neat in there!

Definitly in the orange/red family. and you should veto the hubbys yellow.... that sounds too much like high school colors or something.

i'm excited to see the finished product!
