Ravenclaw Sesame

Wow. I started this sweater last January and just finished it last week. I got really frustrated while fitting the sleeves into the armholes last summer and packed it away to be forgotten about at the bottom of my knitting bag. I finally decided I'd suck it up and finish the darn thing a couple weeks ago. Although there are several things I don't like about this sweater (most of them are mistakes on my part) I still think it's pretty darn fabulous. You can't deny the awesomeness of hand knitted geek pride, man! It's a shame I'm like 8 months late for last summer's Potter mania.

Now I want to make one exactly the same, but with a shorter collar (cause collars bother me)... ok, so not exactly the same, but close.

I don't know where you live, but if I had worn a sweater on July 21st I would have gone up in flames (something akin to Fawks, but no rebirth).
