My mother made me throw the bottles out  Cry but I kept all the pretty metal caps. I love the fortunes on the inside! But what to do, what to do?

I love them too! Put them in a drawstring bag, and use them for fortune telling stones. I wonder, if they were filled with clear resin, would the fortunes still be readable? Glue them around the edge of a picture frame, make magnets, send them to me Grin.

epoxy them some how beteen two piece of plexiglass...    perhaps find a plastic vynal lampshade and  glue them on.. ..
I have seen ruber belts with bottle caps but that displays the outside...

if you can flaten them...    with a hammer.. (maybey putting a paper towel over so as not to scratch the paint.. perhaps you could hammer a small nall through the edges to creat 2 holes  and then you would beable to string them together...

I saw a bag like this at barnes and noble the other day:

You could make a smaller purse with the amount you have and some wire.  It wouldn't hide the fo ;)rtunes either.

I have a bag full of them too, I have my bottle still, but I have no idea what to do with caps or bottles. I used a few of them to hold bath salts I made, the scent went with the flavor the soda had been. But I still have like 40 bottles.

Something I saw in a book that looks good, if you have a few bottles. You pour some bright paint inside the bottle, I remember it laid on it's side, and was turned periodicly, so it was evenly coated. They showed it holding fake flowers as a vase, but maybe if the paint wasn't water soluble, it could work for real flowers? Keep the labels, use colors that fit the flavors, have a row of rainbow colors.
I'd love to have a bottle tree, but we get too many storms. I'd constantly be picking up broken glass(but bottle trees look so cool!).

Bottle trees are super cool. I did that paint vase thing with a larger glass vase and I really like how it turned out. It's fun to swirl the colors together too.

I love the ideas of belt, pic frame, and stuff.
I was thinking maybe a necklace or bracelet.
If you save a few of the bottles you can make them into a cool shelf. I made one with Sobe bottles. All you do is glue the bottles to pieces of plywood or other scrap wood and stack them up. Multiple layers should be glued together. Then you could glue the bottlecaps to the edges of the wood so the fortunes show.  Grin
That is amazing. I might have to make myself one. Roll Eyes
