Everything stops for tea

The beautiful boyfriend and I made some ice cream on Easter Saturday.

We used a base custard of 500 ml of heated double cream with 70g sugar in, then with three egg yolks. The lack of milk in the recipe meant that it could be put in the freezer and forgotten about- no need for an ice cream maker.

We then made four different flavours from this custard:
Vanilla
Mint Choc Chip
Chocolate
Honeycomb

Onto the pictures!

The ice cream was very hard and it wasn't the normal texture from store bought ice cream, but it was of course still delicious.

The Recipe.

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.

Just bits of honeycomb (or Crunchie in this case) crumbled into the icecream. Simple and tasty!
