I am attending the Charity Ball at ACEN this year, so I decided to make a ball gown (total cost: $13).  I couldn't get a good view of the front, but here's a decent shot of the back:

I had to fiddle with contrast in order to show details, because everything looked like a giant black blob!

A closeup of the bustle:

The center back:

The front top:

Front bottom (I think I'm going to add roses at the points that are tacked up, I just don't have any handy):

Focus on the straps  (you can see the shirring really well):

Closeup of fabric:

I couldn't get a full shot of the front, sorry.  My camera hates me.  ;_;

Comments are appreciated and (constructive) criticism is welcome.

Wow, the bustle on the skirt looks gorgeous! It's a shame you can't get better pics of it all.

Wow.
Did you add all those little buttons (beads?) individually?  Such patience!

I wish I could get a shot of me in the dress, but I literally have to stitch myself into it.  The straps are quite difficult...I'm going to need a team of people to get me into the dress and then stitch the straps down in the front...I'll have to cut myself out of it too. >.<
