It is spring, my favorite time of year, and I finally have a spring quilt for my walls.

It was inspired by a cakestand quilt I saw at a quilt shop in Brea, CA.

My friend, Claire, offered to buy - but I'd feel weird selling a quilt, I doubt I could sell if for anywhere near what it cost to make - besides, I'd miss it terribly.

Hope you like it.

The quilt looks wonderful and very springlike.  I really like that it's set on point, it makes it even more interesting.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

The only way to get started is by taking the first step.  You don't have to start off making queen size quilts - small quilts can be a great way to get your feet wet - think baby quilts, placemats, table toppers - but be warned, it is very addictive!!

P.S.  Thanks for the compliments (or is it complements?  I get so confused. . .)

Trust me, your friend probably would buy it for the price you would like but for a quilt that looks like this, you could definitely sell it! My aunt used to sell her quilts and she would charge 2 or 3x the amount it cost to make it. But enough of that. I love your quilt! How big is it?
