I was just kicking this idea around and wondering if anyone else was interested...
I was thinking a swap done in the style of the Fill a Box Supplies Swap, only the supplies you send are crafty recycled "junk" that you know things can be done with, you just don't know what to do. For example, bottle caps, prescription medecine bottles (I would love to get my hands on some of these!), strips of plastic that someone could melt into beads, various saved plastic containers (empty peanut butter jars, mayonnaise jars), strips of salvaged fabric, old torn jeans, used-up gift cards, old magazines, et cetera. I am a pack rat, I save everything, but I  would love to de-stash a little and also get some fresh material!
Anyone interested?

So we'd send each other misc. stuff from our stash? I love rusty metal and jones soda caps, myself. Cheesy Would we then make and post a picture of something from our new craft material, or just keep it simple, and just swap supplies only?

I was just thinking of just swapping supplies only, but whatever works! Smiley

I like your idea of just swapping stuff without making anything, but either way, good idea. I like the thought of destashing a bit, and getting different goodies to play with. I've hung on to so much stuff, thinking surely I can make something out of it...maybe...
Oh,BTW,I could send you some of those prescription bottles you were wanting.Maybe we each fill, well, maybe not a priority mail envelope, but the same standard size small box? Or just whatever we feel like sending? What do you think?

That's exactly what I was thinking, like filling the smallest flat rate boxes or whatever. I'm not quite sure how that whole "post office" thing works, but yeah, everyone could send in the same size box and whatnot.

Sounds awesome, I'd be up for it. And unlike most other swaps, it really wouldn't take long to do. I've been stashing things for a while now because I just KNOW they're useful, but they just keep piling up... Grin

I have a whole bunch of fliers advertising a series of concerts (but all the fliers are the same), does anyone want them?

This sounds like fun!  I could definitely use some de-stashing!
