Obsessed with food:  Awwww, honey.  I've been there.  ((hugs))  Less than a year ago, I was 125 lbs overweight, now I'm still 95 lbs overweight, but that weight is going.  How did I do it?  I remained obsessed with food!!  I just branched out into healthier choices and discovered that most of them can be as yummy or better than the unhealthy counterpart!  I have to admit that I do work out 4-5 days a week, but I was walking 2 miles or more a day while I was gaining the weight, so I attribute losing the 30 lbs to altering my relationship with food.

So, keep your food obsession, just make it work for you!  Turn lemons into lemonade and eat!!

depression- it's not a weakness. Have you tried contacting your local NAMI group? Perhaps just being in a support group would help. Don't keep it all inside. It's no more healthy for you than being depressed. *hugs*

plus ... being human is a weakness, if you want to look at it that way.  but we are all messed-up; it's not like there's anybody out there who has nothing wrong with them.  just have to find a way to cope and keep on living, whatever way works for you.

creative criticism always appreciated!

Here's another one (It got a bit squished in the mail, I'm sorry secret sender):

"I wish I could take back that night for you. I wish I'd arrived sooner"

I have decided that the hokey pokey is what it's all about.

"I never discuss our problems with friends to keep up the facade that we're... PERFECT."

"HELP! I am obsessed with food Sad"

Being obsessed with food isn't healthy, no matter whether it's healthy food or junk food.  One of the better books I've read on the subject is _Breaking out of Food Jail_ by Jean Antonello.  With the current cultural obsession with appearance, it's no wonder people are developing unhealthy obsessions with food.

Clinical Depression: There is an honesty in this card that I can admire.  I know exactly how you feel.
