Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.

But kids are so honest! They say all the stuff everyone else wants to say. Some old people do too. I'm not sure why.

I love to sing, but I don't think I do it well since I have a lisp and all.

me too!
Cheesy

You too? Cheesy Yay! Hahaha...I think we are few and far between...at least I know I was completely pressured into taking speech therapy and everything, but I decided not to because it really doesn't hinder my life too much...you just have to be friends with me for a while before you can understand me completely! Cheesy

Okay, okay, I'm babbling, I'm just glad I found one of my people!

And I agree with the thought that people who can't sing try to anyway and you feel really embarassed for them.  Undecided One of my friends in high school thought she could sing, but her voice was reaaaallly pitchy and painful to listen to. Another one was waaaay too quiet and couldn't project her voice, so we never really knew if they could sing or not. Great people, though.

one of my friends in middle and high school thought she could sing.. and we were all in chorus.... lets just say it was a VERY bad time.

alas, we're no longer friends, so I don't have to pretend she can sing anymore

and i act like a child, and i'm immature,
and i'm filled with doubt, and i'm insecure.
sometimes it creeps up on me,
and before i know it i'm lost at sea.
but no matter how far i row,
i always find my way back home.
but i don't know what i've been waiting for...

Good for you to narrow down what you want to be... go for it!  I like the lightbulb on the postcard.

I really like the flowery paper stuff too. It looks very familiar, but I don't know why.

Wow, my comments for these cards will sort of flow right into each other! I was a music education major my first year at college. I passed the voice proficiency requirement, but I know I'm not a good singer. I'm really quiet and can't project. I'm now an elementary education major. If you think you want to be a teacher, second card author, go for it! If you're in college, take a Foundations of Education class. I know in mine, we went out in the field, and that was what made me realize that I wanted to be an elementary teacher. Or, you could volunteer in your church's Sunday School class, or in an elementary school, or try to get a job at a daycare. Go for it!

Check out my bi-weekly podcast where two twenty something heterosexual women (who act like fifty something gay men) discuss geek culture, pop culture and all things Disney, Doctor Who and theater.
