Hi I'm too sure what to say, theses are two very large charcoals I did a while ago. The first one is from an old Life Magazine article about the Savoy. It's 6'x6' paper mounted on board, I sold it and still regret it.

This one is 5'x3' I saw this portrait in a book about opera. Sorry the picture quality is a bit weird. I tried to lighten it some,it's very dark, and to get a decent pic I had to zoom in so the scale is off . It's also charcoal on paper mounted to wood.

Thanks, I miss the first one, her expression was what made me love the picture, that and her satin dress had great depth. The 2nd one is in my dining room and it gives the kids the hebbie jeebies, it has that eyes following you feeling to it, plus it's huge!! lol thanks for the nice replies I'm always so nervous when i show my work.  Smiley
I really like drastic lighting in my stuff, I guess that's why I like doing charcoals. this one is a painting, again the pic quality sort of stinks.

you really have a knack for inverse light rendering. a lot of people have trouble drawing the highlights instead of the shadows. this looks great.
