i took two kickin' boxes I got at costco for free to haul all our food:

A glue gun, some cool vintage "looking" fabric from my stash and some fleece for the bed part (from my stash) and turned the boxes into this:

It is by no means perfect, but I really like it. I haven't seen the cats use it much yet but I think I might tie some pom poms or something to the doorways to give then something to bat at.

oh! i did the same thing for my cat! and she loved it!! but i was about 10, so instead of cool fabric, i decorated the outside of the box with markers! but yours looks much cooler, i have to say!

My kids love making houses for the cats out of boxes! The last one was from a soda suitcase (24 pack). Our large cat filled it! She stayed for quite awhile. Another use is for our wonderful small softie friends...a great playplace for little ones. Great idea stacking them!! I'll have to show this to the kids!
