This washcloth is called "Woven" Dishcloth. The front and back post double crochets create a very compact, sturdy dishcloth. I like that the pattern includes a stitch multiple so you can customize how large the dishcloth measures.



Mine is 6"x 6" and I used Sugar and Cream in Daisy Ombre. Turned out to be a great stashbuster!

I did a scarf with the front post back post alternating and I liked it a lot.  It's a great idea to use it to make a washcloth too.  It's really a lovely pattern, thanks!

That is funny.  I made a knitted woven cloth out of the exact same yarn and colorway.  I posted it in the knit version of the wash cloth along.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=218514.310
