This is such an awesome idea! I've wanted one of those jars for a while! Depending when the swap happens, I'd definitely be in!

(by the way I'm the before mentioned partner  Wink Ma Rut told me about this swap idea)

This would be really fun!!!  I'd be able to join after the first week in may (I'm going out of town that week).  I'd really love to do this swap, though  Grin

Oh, man, the asphalt season starts up in a week or two, but I may have to do this one. I guess I could kinda pre-craft the jar of whimsies, hmmm?   Wink

I would prefer a smaller jar, but I guess even a bigger one would be fine, as I could use bulkier items (like ribbons) to fill it up. I used all small items for the jar you saw in the shop the swap swap, and the retail value was easily over $30 (those darn charms are quite expensive!).

Anyways, I'd be up for this swap if it was sooner rather than later and it'd be a big plus if we didn't necessarily need to theme it towards our partner. (Plus, that makes it easier for de-stashing.)

And I would strongly suggest that people swap to people in the same country or even continent. I mailed 5 skeins of yarn to the U.K. in the OWS swap and it cost me $23. Can't even imagine what a glass jar loaded with goodies would cost.   Shocked

what if you used something like these http://www.ziploc.com/?p=b7 and then not have to worry about breaking the jar and also people could use them for soup later.

creative criticism always appreciated!

Curious to see how/if this goes.  I'm beyond busy these days, but would love for this to be my first swap!  I adore "tiny" things and whimsies!
