No before pics but it was this vintage full size sheet I found at a garage sale for 25 cents that I just fell in love with. I made a cute dress for my daughter. I spent over $10 on the green and burnt orange ruffle and lace part. So a 25 cent dress turned quickly into a not so cheap dress. She loved it though. She went around telling everyone "this was a sheet and my mom cut it and made me a dress. Isn't she cool?" So cute. Some people were looking at her like who is this little girl and why is she telling me this? Hope you like.

This dress is great, and I loved the layered ruffle around the bottom.  Some of my favorite pieces of material I have found have been vintage sheets from thrift stores.  And I have to laugh, because she is hunting for eggs in her bare feet---my kids will be out in their snow boots tomorrow morning!

It's adorable - and so is your daughter!
The ruffle is definitely worth it, adds a lot of character to the already cute dress.

That's sweet!  A little matching bonnet or kerchief would be nice.

That's so funny because I was out sunbathing this morning. It's about 89 degrees out right now. Thats Texas for ya. But it's supposed to get cold come Monday, er I mean 65.  Grin

Wow. I bet they'll love that on the kid's board. The orange at the bottom really makes it.
