Whoo hoo, 2 posts in one day Smiley  So where I work is really cold sometimes and I thought it'd be nice to have a snugly little capelet to wear.  The outer fabric is sort of a canvas-like weave and I lined it with a nice deep green fleece that was on sale at JoAnns.  I haven't actually worn it yet, but just looking at it makes me feel warm and toasty Smiley
Thanks for looking Smiley

That's lovely! I can just imagine Grace Kelly wearing it.

Beautifull capelet!!  If you didnt use a pattern, would you mind describing how you made it and what measurements you used?

Thank you guys for the really nice responses Smiley  I appreciate it!  I used buttericks b4664 view C.  I lengthened it though by about 5 inches.  I just laid out the pattern then used my tape measure to pin an outline of the cutting line at the length I wanted.  I also skipped putting on the collar which made it a very quick and easy project.

Ohhhh, it's perfect!  I really want to make a capelet, but it's almost spring where I live, which means that summer (and upper 90 degree temps) will soon follow.  I can plan, though!  Thank you for sharing with us!

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

honestly, more people should wear capelets. I can't wait for it to get a wee bit warmer here.
