Rec'd today from pinupmommy.  What an interesting box!  Tons of ephemera, magazines, a pile of ribbons, lots of sparkles in tiny bags.

Thank you!

hey kitty98626 i am glad it was a good surprise!

well, my secret is out about being so floppy-minded that i could not decide what to leave out, so i sent extra.  that was why i got swap anxiety the other day.  but i didn't want to say the reason, because i was afraid someone would tell me "send only one box" and then i would have to figure out what to leave out.  [goto step 1]

PS: i forgot to mention that the seatbelt cozy was made by my aunt when she was learning to quilt, oops!! i hope she doesn't mind.  but i never used it and it was small prints, so i sent it along.

I have lost track of the weigh ins - has anyone beat my 9 pounds 15 ounces of stuff I sent to DDSuzie?

which I did not take a photo of and she hasn't posted yet, as she says she is still finding stuff squirreled away everywhere, LOL!

I got my first box today from pinupmommy!!!!

all kinds of ribbons and glittery type of embelishments

images for me to use in collages

vintagie playing cards, rubber stamps, puzzle pieces, ect..

some scrabook paper scraps and a stack of old magazines.  There is a celeb mag in there from 2001, I can't wait to read it and see how much they have changed

a pad of scrabook paper and punchout embelishments--totally my style, and some other random scraps, paint chips, and photos, and a journal

there was a Tootsie Roll in the box, my favorite!!!!  It got eaten right away while I was looking through all the stuff

I couldn't resist, as long as I was uploading pics, I had to include one of my niece Lilly, she was born one week ago.  By DB and SIL have been trying for 15 years!!!  She's the first grandchild on either side of the family.

I'm FINALLY posting a group pic of what I received from tibeydo. Isn't it amazing what can be shoved in those boxes!!!???

She didn't know The Wave is my favorite! That was just a convenient coincidence. There are so many thing that I can't wait to use!!!

Oh, one little thing, tibeydo, that I forgot to mention were the buttons. Specifically, the white knot-looking ones. I'm making a dress from some vintage cotton I received from a personal swap, and these will make a PERFECT clasp for the matching purse and focal point for a brooch!! All in all, an AMAZING swap!!!

Thanks, tibeydo!

Here's all of it!

Closeup of fabrics

Closeup of notions, beads, etc.

Paints added to my painting tool box

I don't know what these gold button looking things are?

Or this Wild wire kit,

Thank you so much!  I am excited about all the paints, I love to paint.  Now my collection nears my mom's.  I also already cut up some of the fabric for my postage stamp quilt.  Tehehe.

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.
