For Christmas last year, I wanted to make rather than buy gifts. What do do w/ leftover batting and t-shirt scraps? Make sleep masks!

The knockout one was my lil bro's idea and the printed one was done w/ metallic sharpie and a stencil

Here's a country girl and a flower one

An ASL one, again metallic sharpie, and a Marie Antionette-inspired one using teal tulle over butterfly appliques on a white tee material

Dreaming of Superman, and fireflies

And last but not least, mom gave my sis and me satin sleep masks for Christmas. My sis LOVES Breakfast at Tiffany's and she asked if I could make hers like Holly's in the movie(which was a total shock, since my sis is NOT into homemade stuff!) This is how they turned out

Thanx for looking! I also made Batgirl, Hello Kitty, and Twilight Princess masks and posted them here! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=227186.msg2462868#msg2462868

Great idea for using up those fabric scraps!  I have a 17 hour flight coming up this summer, so I think I may just make one as well!

Thanx! I use mine every night! ^ ^
I got the eyelashes from Hobby Lobby in the doll section. They're 4-5 in. long, so I trimmed them down to size. I attached them by glue-gunning the base then sewing it down w/ gold thread.
Hope this helps!
