very easy i just traced the outline of the frames on freezer papers and then cut it out and ironed it on the fabric then cut them out

They look so good!!  But I have a question..what is the purpose of the freezer paper?  Could you have just traced directly on the fabric?  And what is the purpose of the ironing?  Sorry, I've never done this but I'm very interested!

the freezer paper was to make a pattern cause you paint the frame and you dont want to get pencil outline on the wood..plus the fabric was too dark to see the pencil even if i did do it that way, iron the freezer paper on the fabric(cause it sticks)to make it easy to cut out the perfect shape and then peel it off!
