If we're all thinking outside the box, doesn't that just put us in a bigger box?

I originally made this toy with the idea that it was going to be a little monster, but somewhere along the way, it turned into a kitten. Well, my husband thinks it's a chipmunk, but I ruined it by putting on the nose.

Anyway, I used the Loveable Toys Pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts and I followed the directions for the bear head. The yarn is all mystery stuff from deep in my stash. I've had the fun fur lingering for almost 2 years. It's soft and a pretty color and it makes more sense to use it for a toy than fashion.

There's a close up of the face and the back on the blog for anyone interested.

I LOVE your kitty.  I hate fun fur, but now I have an idea what to do with what I have.
