I started with the tarnished pearly broken flower, added it to the irregular silver/black disk from an odd broken earring.Wired it to some black net ribbon saved from a package, added a piece of black yarn I had to cut off my daughter(she'd tied it around her neck for a necklace!). Found if I tied it in a knot, it'd be almost impossible to undo.Found a silver star tac pin.Voila!
The family goes to the coffee shop once a week so DH and DD can play chess. I bring a bag of assorted craft supplies. So I had to put my hand on the scanner when we got home. Grin

That looks great! I love how the jewelry all matches. Whenever I stick things together they never look right because they have different amounts of tarnish etc.

My favorite part about it is how you only see a scribble shape until you look closely.

That's gorgeous.  The silver, the black ribbon, and the pearls are lovely together.

Thanks everybody! I keep thinking I'm going to make jewelry with my odd bits and pieces, and sell them. Then anytime I do make something, I end up liking it too much to part with it. And I just bought a ziplock bag of broken jewelry for 3 bucks! It's going to be fun playing with it.
