I saw these creepy japanese-horror-movie doll things in a comic store months ago, and decided I had to dress as one at some point. What better time than Hallowe'en? You can check them out at Little Apple Dolls

As I stood there alone
And I thought to myself how the moon
That night, cast its light
On my heart's true delight
And the reef where her body was strewn

That's really awesome!  I think little apple dolls are pretty cool. Sort of an obscure costume though - but I bet the people who knew what it was really appreciated it.

If I'd seen you trick-or-treating on my block I would have hugged you and not let go for an hour! -*_*-  I love those dolls (could only afford one, I have Umbrae! <3)

Wow, wouldn't it be awesome if they'd take your idea and make official costumes?  <3 <3

lol, thanx! but you do know that I copied the costume from an existing doll, don't you? Her name is Circe, and when she speaks it sounds like cats crying and the aurora borealis.

I know - Circe turned the other children into cats and their mothers hurled her into the lake.  =3

I meant they should make people-sized  costumes.  ^_~

I'm not a fan of the uber long sleeves. I have this doll at home as a part of a collection. I do love this dress, I think you did an exceptional job on the images on the skirt and I love the other details too.
