Recently made this dolman sleeve tunic/dress for a friend of mine and wanted to share with you other Craftsters.  I used this tutorial off of Burda Style: http://www.burdastyle.com/howtos/show/65?view_all=comments#
It was really simple and whipped up in about an hour or so.  Instead of hemming the sleeves and bottom, I just serged it with black thread around the edge.  I think it's a cool detail, and saved me the time and trouble of hemming (which I HATE).
Made it from a black costumey satin and it has sequins around the neck edge and as a (removable) belt! I got both the fabric and the sequins from Walmart...
I loved this one so much, I'm going to make one of my own in a crinkly silkish fabric. I almost didn't want to give this one up!  I prefer wearing it with jeans, as it's just a little too short for my taste.  Anyway, pictures!

Thanks for looking!  Comments/questions always welcome... Smiley

That's so cute!!

You could wear with black tights and heels for a night out too!

Ooooo, very shmexy!  You should make one for every night of the week, so you can be ready with the hotness when the need arises.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.
