I was very inspired by c.c.'s tiny pies, (see here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=233346.0) and missing Pushing Daisies something aweful.  I can't make pie crust to save my life.  Luckily I stumbled across this recipe: http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/ShowRecipe.aspx?rid=12302   It uses biscuts from a can for the crust. I thought it was weird, but hey anything to avoid the dreaded pie crust!

as you can tell they aren't the most glamorous things to look at, but they turned out mighty tasty.  Surprisingly, I thought they were even better cold the second day.

They look yummy, I am the same way I can't make pie crust to save my life. It never occured to me to use bisquits in a can.

Mmmm cup-pies...
But don't be afraid of pie crust.  With the use of a food processor it is super quick and easy.

That looks delish! I always use the pre-maid pie crust in the fridge section of the grocery store and cut it with a round cookie cutter.

I made 16 of these and 3 teenage boys ate them in one night, so I am guessing they were good. I wouldn't know the doody heads didn't leave me one!
