I've been trying to craft only using things in my stash as funds are low right now.  A few years ago my best friend's grandma passed away.  Her grandma had all this ribbon that my best friend didn't know what to do with.  I also had left over tule ribbon left over from my wedding. Here is what I made with it:

I probably used a total of 5 spools of ribbon.

ps my daughter was pretending to be a fairy princess lion mermaid, hence the face.

She's the most beautiful fairy princess lion mermaid I've ever seen!

The skirt looks great -- wonderful use of stash!

funny...i looked at that picture and thought, 'now there's a fairy princess lion mermaid if i've ever seen one!'
that tutu is adorable - the ribbons add a lot.

Will swap for baby food jars (or other small jars with lids)

There's a cultural center nearby that has a summer festival "Fairies, Lights, and Sprites."  Part of the event is a Fairy Tea for little girls.

I made my daughter a ribbon tutu very similar to yours.  I layered over a tulle wrap skirt I had made her and some fairy wings that I bought.  All the other girls had on store bought fairy costumes, but I still think my daughter had the best outfit.  And four years later, that stuff is still in good shape and gets played with.  Those store bought costumes probably came apart at the seams years ago.

So good for you for making a lovely gift for your little one that will be well loved!
